But a better way to use email marketing is by setting
up a "sublist".

Sublists are small, but highly targeted, lists, that are
build automatically.

That is the beauty of it - it doesn't take any effort to build
a sublist...

Here's how it's done...

Suppose you give away a special Ebook that you wrote
to your web site visitors or subscribers.

Will you just offer the book for download via a simple
download link on your web site, and let the book get
spread around on the Net, without knowing who has
read your book?

Of course not... If you're a smart marketer, you'll make
your f'ree Ebook "work" for you.

You should at least ask the people who download
your Ebook to register it when they open it, so they
can get a f'ree update of the book when there's one

Most people will be glad to sign up for a f'ree update
(provided your Ebook is good enough of course :-) and
in the meanwhile, you've collected their information to
follow-up on them later with information and products
that are related to your Ebook's subject.

This doesn't involve any work from your side, but it will
slowly build a responsive and highly targeted sublist.

- Responsive... because the people who registered
your Ebook have taken some kind of action.

- Targeted... because you'll discover what your sublist
subscribers are interested in.
