Quick tips to increase your visibility.

It's been said many times, by many people, but it's an absolute
truth; if you can get your web site listed with Yahoo, you'll never
be without visitors again!

Since I got my entertainment site www.theweirdsite.com listed I
get a steady stream of traffic from Yahoo. So, if I can do it, you
can do it too!

Just be sure that your site offer lots of interesting content and
easy navigation, prepare a great description of your web site
(keep it to a strict minimum, because the Yahoo folks don't have
much time to loose) and you too can get there.
Here's the web site I used to get me listed.
Create an online directory on your site, and pack it with
interesting links to E-books, E-zines, software and tools
that are related to the content on your site.

This doesn't cost you anything, and if people find your source
to be valuable, they will return over and over again.
Interact! Don't lurk! Let your voice be heard! Post to mailing
lists, forums, bulletin boards and newsgroups, and give advise
to others who look for help, and include your well designed
signature file in every message that you post.

Helping someone in need pays off well. People will tell about
you when you solve their problems!

Creating and distributing an E-book is the best way to get
repeated traffic to your web site, and this easy to use, and

Place a 'Subscribe Now' box at the top of your home page,
and ask visitors to leave their email address -nothing more!

Explain that the email addresses will be hold in complete
privacy, and offer a FREE gift in return.

TIP: Send them to a special URL where they can download

your product when they're there!

Make it easy for people to contact you by providing clickable
links to URL's and emails. Add "mailto:" in front of an email
address, and most email programs will allow the user to open
a new message to that address simply by clicking on the link.
Climb in your pen, and write a positive note to another E-zine
editor or web master. They may like this, and include your
comment in their publication in return.

If they do, and most of them will, ask them to place your sexy
sig file beneath it!

Write an interesting article about a subject you are passionate
about, and send it to several E-zines. Add your resource box
beneath it, that tells who you are, and what your web site and
email address is!
Include the name of your business and a short marketing
statement in your sig file. Remember to always sell benefits,
not features.
